Cx. Magnoliae Officinalis Hou Po 3-10g Promotes the movement of Qi downward, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Cang Zhu and Chen Pi, for Dampness Accumulation with Qi Stagnation.
Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 3-10g Strongly dries Dampness, tonifies the Spleen and clears Dampness from the Lower Jiao.
With Hou Po, for Dampness obstructing Spleen Yang with epigastric fullness, abdominal and epigastric distention, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, loss of taste and a thick, greasy tongue coat.
With Hou Po and Chen Pi, for epigastric fullness, fatigue and discomfort, anorexia, vomiting and/or diarrhea with a turbid, greasy tongue due to Dampness Obstructing the Middle Jiao.
With Da Zao, for chronic accumulation of Dampness in the Spleen with hypochondriac pain, acid reflux and anorexia.
Hb. Agastaches/ Pogostemonis Huo Xiang 3-10g Aromatically transforms Dampness, releases the exterior and transforms turbidity.
With Zhi Ban Xia, for nausea and vomiting.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Cang Zhu, for nausea and vomiting, fullness and distention of the chest, epigastrium, and abdomen, anorexia and diarrhea with a turbid, greasy tongue coat due to turbid Dampness Obstructing the Middle Jiao.
With Zhi Ban Xia, Hou Po and Cang Zhu, for Summerheat and Dampness Stagnation in the Middle Jiao.
Rz. Pinelliae Preparatum Zhi Ban Xia 3-14g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Rebellious Qi and stops vomiting.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 3-9g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Sheng Jiang, for Cold-Dampness Obstructing the Middle with nausea and hiccup.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 2-15g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 10-30g Tonifies the Spleen and Stomach, augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
  • Contraindicated for those with Yin Deficiency
  • Contraindicated for those with a weak Spleen and Stomach.
